I've only allowed myself to try to unlearn that skill after leaving the job market about a year ago. I can't help wondering how life would have turned out if I had given it up earlier. 🙂

I think communication *is* key.
When you communicate something to somebody and they don’t understand it the way you meant them to, it’s not their fault. You just didn’t communicate it well enough. It's on you. Try again, and remember that often the problem starts with *you* not understanding *them*.

I feel for you. The thing about suicide, though, is that it won't bring relief since you won't be there to register any change of your situation once you commit it. But it will hurt others. Especially if you have kids, it'll ruin their lives. Glad you're getting help. Hang in there.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure. The way I’ve understood Perry and the important work he did helping others with addiction, I think he might have approved the message of "don't mess with ketamine".

That used to puzzle me too. But I've realized that while we in Europe always add a number of different spices when cooking, Americans often rely on just adding one - a spice mix. They've taken the concept of curry powder to the next level with concoctions such as "italian" spice 😊

I agree completely w/r to hunting wildlife in general and w/r to these kinds of animals specifically.
Sadly, it is not just the fault of trophy hunting. In some places, China as the worst example, people have a superstitious belief in the effects of ingesting rhino horn. That must be adressed 🤬

What I loved about The Expanse was that it credibly showed how, when colonizing space, the human race would mimic all its previous bad behaviour, but that, when faced with groundshifting new possibilities, a few good people would set a new and better course for mankind. Utopia to me. 😊

I don't think that "Spoutible is bound to fail without notable/famous/people" is a white sentiment.
We all had different reasons for being on X and have different reasons for being here.
Those can co-exist. I'm not sure that Spoutible will ever serve all my needs that were met at X, but that's OK.
