In response to Bo Dybkær.
there’s a time & place i think for “fake it until you make it,” & to some extent the productive world relies on it.

but there’s a dark & damaging side to it, too. especially when you keep up functional appearances as the internal costs spiral.

in any case: glad it resonated, & that you’re healing

I don't say this enough but thank you. A social media platform is just code and servers without a community. You make this place special, and I am proud to be here with you.

We will bring fact-checking to Spoutible soon, but like with every feature, we will do it better. If you echo or quote a spout that is fact-checked after you have interacted with the spout, you will receive a notification about the spout being fact-checked.

I don’t have all the answers, none of us does

but we know more together than we do alone, and we’re stronger together than we are alone

reach out when you need to, the people who care about you are there for you

I know because I’m one of them 🩷

I tell you, some folk need to activate their “Flight” mode on the “Fight or Flight” sense on this app.

Not everything has to be fought over and most aren’t even worth fighting about..

Flight is okay, trust me.

Trump's being covered by most of the MSM like a normal candidate rather than someone who tried to end Democracy. This is not objective.

The MSM are the townspeople in 'The Emperor's New Clothes' — but they need to be the child crying out, 'He's naked!"

Apocalyptic evangelicals who believe The Rapture will occur today, let's make a bet: if you're right, you'll ascend and never have to worry about the likes of me again. But if you're wrong, you have to leave the rest of us the hell alone for your remaining days. Deal?

Those who oppose help for Ukraine today are the shameful heirs of those who opposed help for England in 1940.

AI is going to happen. Too much money has been invested, long before they started rolling it out, to ease us into it. Let's learn from banking and social media. Start fighting for regulations now. Even if we start today, we're already behind.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear's new campaign ad should be used by all Democrats across the country.

Hadley Duvall chose to be identified and has spoken out publicly about what she experienced and its connection to the debate over abortion.

This is possibly the most helpful reply I’ve ever had. Except for @beec4240 responses to things that rhymed with, but were distinctly different from, gnomes.

Anyway, thank you very much. I’m still cranky. But now I know why.

It's explained here, though not until paragraph #37 , beginning with "Specifically, it has everything to do with LKFS..."

Spoutible is the only Twitter alternative that offers advanced search for news items. You can search for all news items about any keyword from any news source in milliseconds. As our database of news items grows, this will be an invaluable resource for our users and researchers. It's a game changer.

💗I am happy to see you guys enjoying the news feeds, but you haven't seen anything yet. Soon, you will be able to search our entire database of news with keywords within milliseconds. For example, you will be able to find every article about Biden that was published on Spoutible in under a second.

I didn´t have to walk to the next bus stop today (an idea the more daunting because of my bad hip). If I´m lucky I will be able to DRIVE the car to the next garage tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed! The world is not as dark as we think sometimes.

it's amazing how many "primary breadwinners" and people who "just want to walk their kids to school" could take days off to attack democracy and kill capitol police.

A top US defense and space contractor was just revealed to have conspired with Russia to prevent a Ukrainian attack on the Russian navy, and most people are shrugging it off. Elon Musk is a Russian agent and needs to be prosecuted as such.

I've been eligible to vote since 2000, and I haven't missed an election, on any level, yet. Why would I take for granted a right many have been denied, fought for, and died for over the centuries? Voting is not just a right to me, but an obligation.

I decided English needs to adopt a new German loanword, because it´s much shorter and much more to the point than anything the English language can offer.

Tagesform
which is how someone feels on a particular day in relation to a task.

Example
Whether I´m able to finish depends on my tagesform.
