Happens all the time–when there's a 1st BBIMP, LGBTQ+ person, or woman in a position of power, the 1st time they "mess up" in the slightest (usually not even a real mistake), they're booted & replaced by a white man & a "look, we tried..." sigh of relief from the privileged. Just look at Obama.

I don’t understand how this mural could be seen as “racy”. Has this city council person never seen a Georgia O’Keefe painting of a flower?
Other than the rainbow, and slight intertwining of the birches, it’s hard to even see the “pro LGBTQ” part. It’s subtle. It’s hardly in your face.

We were removing invasive blackberry from what is a well-used public park - lots of walkers, dogs and children at break time from the adjacent elementary school. The habitat is challenged! So it was good to come across a handsome toadstool surviving under the rampant and prickly blackberry bushes.
