Garland’s choice of Hur to begin with was really perplexing especially given his then recent history in the Trump DIJ. Huge mistake. An excellent listen is the Jack podcast with Alison Gill and Andy McCabe.

The article really doesn’t explain a reason why or really offer material thoughts. Disappointing and lazy.

Seems like the court didn’t have the account locked. That Trump did this isn’t a surprise. Bet there are no real ramifications

Well if operating margins and profits are at record levels then the corporations are charging way more for their products. That is a big driver of inflation. Not exclusively but a significant contributor. And the corporations spend that on dividends and stock buybacks. It’s all intertwined

Classic useless article. Avg is $11.4k but in Co it’s $15.0k but for lower income folks it’s $14k. The chart per state doesn’t explain and there isn’t a link to methodology. Costs higher than income growth. No mention of corporate profits. this article doesn’t do a good job of proving it.

Interesting, I wonder what the difference was in Fl vs the CA cases that Tesla won. Would think that going to trial with all the discovery would not be something Tesla wants. Likely settlement here.

I don’t disagree. It’s essentially fraud. But as a practical matter, then nobody will admit a party switch but can simply vote with their new philosophical party. We’d essentially be stuck in the same place.

Not sure what’s up with the D’s who voted no or the 41 who have no courage, but clearly there weren’t 290 votes to expel. GOP just can’t do the right thing and they didn’t want to further shrink their majority cushion.
