I am watching my husband do the grandson's laundry and fold the pants badly, hang the wrinkly shirts badly and...I have not said a word about it.

Today I got the last of the vegetables planted, spread some gravel on pathways I'm creating, made a wasp trap, put green wire on spare hummingbird feeders and had a nice lunch. It's a warm sunny day and I heard some new birds in the trees. The dahlias are in full bloom. Tomorrow, fresh salad.

I spent the entire day outside gardening and puttering around with hummingbird feeders and those stackable planters. Finished my last one with annuals. Got some pepper plants in.
Glad to have listened to birds and watched butterflies rather than paid attention to the news. I needed a day of peace.
