Same here. Way back when, I tried to be Superwoman and had a huge vegetable garden. Canned my own food. I'd reward myself with flower gardening. These days, I go straight for the flowers. The rewards of retirement.

Photography was not my strong suit, although I did enjoy the dodging and burning and other ways to manipulate images in the darkroom. Most of the time I was just happy to get useable prints. There were just so many steps, and if you messed up any one, you were sunk.

So many memories! I occasionally contemplate how much of my professional knowledge is obsolete.
I once made a makeshift darkroom of a 2 ft X 3 ft space in front of the furnace in a closet at a tiny weekly newspaper office.
We used OG floppy disks to carry copy to the daily paper where we printed.
