Spoutible pulls out one innovative feature after another. Spoutible is lit. 🔥

As a long-time BotSentinel fan (and old app user) — and as someone who is on Bluesky, Threads, and Mastodon (amongst others) — I felt pained watching people respond to incitement that #AccuracyAlerts could have easily stopped.

Agreed. My timeline was pretty much only 5 people who posted all day long until I muted them and started mass following back and following almost anyone who was verified. Now it's a diverse feed, I see posts from folks that may only post once a week, and I enjoy it a lot.
Nick @Limey
Personally I always follow back for 2 main reasons. 1) I think that's how you build community & mutual interaction rather than just randomly yelling into the void, & 2) I'm not here just to build an echo chamber of people saying what I want to hear. Learning about new things/perspectives is cool.

I've been wanting to say this for awhile,
ANYONE gets a follow from me. Been here a year and only have one account blocked, one. Although I have quietly screamed at some users and the use of the term micro-penis, I am an adult and I've been through worse.

Same. I've had to take a break until I got everyone petty muted. ;-) Well, I have a new account to mute today and everyone piling on with them. For the most part I see the fall out, not the events.

I simply can’t fathom feeling comfortable or safe on another social media platform.

Spoutible is the absolute best place to be for community.

I’m going to spout this with my whole chest and not mince words; STOP with the petty shit, it drives people away.

Whether we have been here since day one or just joined today, it’s not cute.

Most of us joined Spoutiible to get away from that. A general cohesiveness is a good thing.

I can see that. I actually never minded the longer games – even wrote a blog post about it once. But it seems really good for the game.

During a 2016 debate, when asked how he'd deal w/McConnell leading the Senate, Bernie said he'd get his crowds to go stand outside Mitch's house and yell at him, til he'd change his mind. Solid plan, dude.
Flash to '24, with people screaming at POTUS. Same shit, different day.
Nick @Limey
A general misunderstanding of the world & how it works, I think (& Bernie feeds it ftr). Total inability to comprehend "progress" doesn't all come at once & you can't just shout your way to getting everything you want. People like Hilary & Biden are pragmatic, which kills the "progressives" buzz.

Have never been, but during pandemic work from home time this was one of the webcams I would run on my second computer screen to decrease my general pandemic anxiety. https://www.stonehengeskys...
Nick @Limey
A note about Stonehenge: everyone should see it, and when you do, fight every urge to be underwhelmed, and take a moment instead to think about how it got there, 5,000 years ago!

Also, if you're frustrated you can't get closer to the stones now, blame the pricks who kept vandalizing them.

Yeah, one would think you would have little to fear from scores of women coming forward with damaging allegations if you are not a serial rapist.

One thing that stands out as you age and your career introduces you to more people at senior levels of companies is how profoundly unimpressive many of them are, on either a personal or professional level.

Which just makes it harder not to resent ones own lack of advancement. Intellectually I understand the barriers and my role in not being driven enough to risk fighting through them. Emotionally I’m crushed by the unfairness. I am so much smarter and more ethical than these fucks. Why no rewards??

Accuracy test.

Accuracy Alert!

The claim, "Accuracy test," appears to refer to numerous different styles and applications of accuracy tests, spanning from typographical skills, such as mouse and typing accuracy games and professional speed tests, to more technical realms, including machine learning model accuracy evaluations, diagnostic tests in microbiology (e.g., COVID-19), and election auditing procedures. Due to the vast domain differences in the provided sources, the compilation does not support a singular cohesive conclusion around the topic of "accuracy test." Therefore, the claim is neither exclusively true nor false: instead, it introduces a vast topic that embraces various aspects of precision across different fields of study and aspects of daily life. It seems the key similarity is that all these tests aim to evaluate the precision or correctness of certain processes or skills, regardless of the sphere in which these operate.

We can afford to take in a few more.
We––all of us on earth––also need to figure out how to limit our population growth, how to feed all these people, and how to keep the oceans from rising. Oh, and keep a balance of O2 and CO2 as well.
