My mother, now dead, abandoned her Spanish heritage and aggressively passed for white because she could. Even had her given names legally changed. I used to tell myself that was because she grew up in WW2 era Dallas TX. Today I`m not so sure she wouldn't do the exact same.

Can't describe his joy! He is now attending an international school near Denver. My DIL got him in on a student visa and working hard to keep him here until Haiti is stable. He was orphaned in the quake.

Also instead of Western Union, you can use C.A.M. to send food instead of money. I have personally sent rice, potatoes, eggs, and chicken.

My DH was just in Haiti a month ago attending a funeral, he told me about the devastation, he’s heartbroken seeing the country as it is. NO ONE cares because it’s Black people. This is obvious.
