But quite another to add on the "in the interim if you feel the need you can always reach to some crisis message board.." that was my breaking point.. It was callous and unnecessary in my view..
But that's just me.. I am a deeply sensitive man..

After a year and a half of working together I have never once called her upset or asked to speak with her outside of a session but she told me if ever there comes a moment when I needed her I should just call and leave a message so today I needed her.. It's one thing to say I am not available

I was convinced for years that it was my lifetime of misfortune that played a hand in his murder.. I wore a shadow of bad luck all my life until him & just as suddenly he was gone, cruelly snatched away at just 40 years old..

My inner fortitude has been the universal result of a life of surviving horror after horror and in this one man my life so changed so dramatically just by knowing him & being near him in whatever capacity I was able to & then for this one iota of happiness to be ripped away in an unthinkable way..

Today, I made the grievous error, one I had avoided for 15 years now, of Googling her name to see what if anything might have changed only to find she has went on numerous radio talk shows, big national talk shows, where she made light of it all.. That blew a fuse in me..

I did actually find her fan club account on Facebook where I laid down the challenge in front of her 147+K "fans" asking if this might be the year she finally makes a public acknowledgement of how Anthony died saving her life, as a hero.. These few simple words have never once come out of her mouth.

Even on the day he introduced me to his "girlfriend" he told her "this is my wife" referring to me & he was only half joking but she was NOT amused & I thought at first I was just being jealous of her so I stayed silent so as not to appear as such & not to judge him.. I would later know I was wrong.

The way he'd always say "Yes dear.." with that touch of sarcasm wrapped in truth as I vetted him like an old scrub woman.. He'd just laugh his cocky little laugh at me knowing he'd made me insane again because I knew he was laughing at how silly I was being despite how serious I imagined myself ..

We would have eventually found a way to be together either in secret or out I really did not care because he was worth knowing in whatever manner I could have him.. He made me feel shiny & beautiful without so much as saying a word.. The way he looked at me, the wry crooked smile he had for my jokes

My entire life has literally been spent surviving the near murder at the hands of my own sick mother, then surviving the state, the foster care, then one abusive relationship after another until their was Anthony.. He never has a cross word or look with me, he loved me but for his fear of reprisals

I will never be able to get the vision out of my mind of him laying there shot in the heart, likely knowing he was dying, all alone, scared, on that cold cement parking garage ground at 2am praying for the help that would never arrive.. And then to be made a joke in the press is unbearable..

I will however continue to let him twist in the wind trying and trying as he does on facebook to get my attention by responding with moving thoughts to my every post.. I can feel his desperation growing with each attempt unanswered.. I mean we weren't even that close back then but his posts, magic..
