Yashar Ali got hold of it somehow, along with other text and audio recording evidence. Not sure how, or from whom. I just saw it on Yashar's Substack, where Crowder's entire litany of fuckery is laid out in excruciating detail.

It's seriously time to break these extremist incel losers. Investigate their networks, expose them, and arrest them when they threaten violence. All of them. Break them beyond repair.

Mmm, k. I think I've heard that same assurance before, about Trump. What makes you so sure? Between the Electoral College, which always makes things close, to Biden's weaknesses as a candidate, to our love of celebrity and TCs media talent (better than Trump's), I wouldn't be so sure

...they also said in a case out of VA, that a cross burning COULD be prosecuted under a law prohibiting actions intended to intimidate (with the burden of proof on the state of course). So speech is not necessarily incapable of being restricted so long as the law isn't aimed at content or viewpoint

I say this not because I necessarily agree with existing jurisprudence, but because I know what it says. The SCOTUS said, for instance, that a St Paul ordinance against speech rooted in racial hate was unlawful, thus cross burners couldn't be prosecuted under it...BUT...

Those are the least troublesome options IMO. Frankly, he will have to fight a non-compete to do any media-related thing for a while. Which makes me afraid he runs for President. And seriously, anyone who thinks he wouldn't be a threat, again, doesn't know this country very well.

And please if you’re inclined to say “but what about all the old men in the senate?” Like that’s some anti-misogynistic own on your part, save it: they aren’t holding up votes. The critique of Feinstein isn’t about age. It’s that she’s not on the job and it’s hurting the things she cares about.

And then the people who boycott won't send the money they otherwise would have spent here to local social justice orgs. They'll just sit back and feel smug and righteous about all the money they didn't spend in our state as if that taught the mostly rural GOP caucus some kind of lesson...

But it won't do anything. Not coming to TN or conventioning here only hurts the cities represented by the expelled lawmakers. And the GOP doesn't care about them. They're trying to starve the cities of money. They won't change anything due to a boycott. Progressives need to flood the state

Great point! Should have said, "It's obvious which of the two groups is dangerous to kids," or something like that. I wish I'd seen this before it was too late to edit. I'll redo it. But I'll let it stand for a bit to reflect your intervention and my reaction as a model for dialogue. Is that OK?

shhh...that might raise issues of how all that Christian love was used to abuse him for his gender identity, and then where would we be? It would no longer be sufficient to condemn the obvious evil of the shooting. We'd also have to look at institutional transphobia, so, better to ignore it...

great point...T production ranges all over the place regardless of gender. So unless these assholes are prepared to test everyone for T and repress those with more of it (which, c'mon, they would never do for obvious reasons, nor should we), all their transphobic bullshit should be called what it is

...and it creates a hopelessness that can contribute to self-harm and other-harm. The shooter is to blame, but we all must take some responsibility. Certainly in a state like TN which has been working overtime to shun anything that deviates from the preferred Biblical "norm" (END of thread)

If there is ANY relevance to Hale's gender ID it would be only this: raised in a conservative Christian home (Hale's mom worked at The Village Chapel, a fundamentalist church w/very traditional views on sex/gender), they may have been told they were broken, sinful, etc...

Anyone seeking to connect the mass shooting in Nashville to the shooter's apparent trans or non-binary identity is trafficking in bigotry. There is no link between being trans & being violent. Prior mass shooters? Cisgender so far as we know. But no one blamed THAT...
