I just went to see the film with my wife. We both sat in silence at the end. Brilliant film that brought to life the amazing work of Isabel Wilkerson. The book made me reflect deeply…but the film added the layers of empathy and emotions that hit home. I did not stop crying for a long while..

Restaurant supply stores are like a toy stores for me. Indeed the packaging is geared for the hospitality industry and cost per unit is cheaper however you don’t always need 12 or 24 of everything. Small wares can be purchased by the unit. Worth a look for bargains!

He is a mathematician and created log charts for proper temperature and time for each item cooked. The key is respecting the guidelines and cooling the food to 1 Celsius as quickly as possible. The Joule and Anova apps have great recipes and they are tested in labs but limited to the recipes

Yes, when I lived in Montreal I depended on pickers but near Ottawa we are so lucky. The wilderness is less than 30 minutes outside of town. Winter is another story:)
