Yeah, one of the first oddities I found after moving to the West Coast is that Hellmann's is sold under the brand name "Best Foods." Same label, just different name.

You saw Hellmann's? That's so fascinating. Grew up on the East Coast and one of the first oddities I noticed after moving west is that the same product is sold under the brand name "Best Foods" here.

Can't say I recall seeing an TV ad for mayonnaise before.

Agree. The profit motive in news is too frequently at odds with responsible reporting.

I've thankfully managed to avoid seeing them thus far, but too many use an Emmett Till justification that it's for the greater good.

If a family wants to pursue that path, that's their choice. Not a reporter's.

Melt butter and add along with the soda/water to the dry ingredients.

Mix batter by hand.

Scoop onto ungreased baking sheet and press each cookie into a flat disc with palm.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-14 minutes. Allow to cool on the sheet.

Does seem quite strange in retrospect that All About Eve's only acting win would be Supporting Actor and all of the women would lose...

So, likely negative or accusatory sentiment in postings/replies, sharing of links to known sources of mis/disinformation, repetitive spamming of hashtags, etc.

He's also asked not to focus on the exact score and more the classification... which could beg the question why disclose the score.

Bouzy spouted a link to the BotSentinel FAQ.

While they don't disclose the exact heuristics used to calculate the score, the language modeling evaluates for "nefarious automated bots, targeted harassment and abuse, mis/disinformation, toxic discourse, and other problematic social media activities."

Also, enable two-factor auth if available on the site.

And migrate to FIDO password-less login as sites roll it out industry-wide.

I'd recommend using a password manager instead of using the guidance in the chart. There are both free and paid versions of password managers.

The chart may have been designed to go viral, but the numbers are not at all realistic.

Again, FIDO needs to be implemented by each site individually, but it’s already rolling out and as soon as these big players all adopt it, you can be assured it will deploy quickly elsewhere.

Not only because it’s safer, but it’ll also be a lot less work for you.

3. Migrate to #FIDO (Fast Identity Online) password-less login when it rolls out.

This is a more secure authentication standard to get people off of passwords entirely, developed by Google, Apple, Microsoft and others.

And, as discussed with Twitter’s decision to disable SMS as a #2FA option, authenticator apps are more secure than SMS. Most are free.

Though safer, these apps make logging in a bit more tedious than using SMS. And SMS is still good protection.

So, just make an educated decision.

2. Enable two-factor auth (2FA), if available.

This is per site, so it’s not supported on all, but if it is, turn it on.

Search the site’s Help or Account sections to find it.

As directional guidance, sure, the longer the password with different cases and symbols, the better. But the chart’s numbers are all garbage, and none of this is sufficient.

Instead, here are three tips for much better protecting yourself online:
