I visited Boston, MA in 2012 and found myself in Boston Public Garden. Opened in 1837, it was the first public botanical garden in America. The garden was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted (as part of the Emerald Necklace), the famous landscape architect who also designed Central Park in New York

sitting on the branch
above the shadows
of my yesterdays
I see the colours of twilight
envelope the horizon
and for a moment
tomorrow
appears
if not within reach
at least hanging
along the edges
of my dreams
sitting on the branch
above the shadows
of my yesterdays
I see the colours of twilight
envelope the horizon
and for a moment
tomorrow
appears

I search for the sanctuary
behind the edges
of your essence
and discover
the many colours of your being
painting the rainbows
in the sky
hear the songs born
of righteousness and hope
escape your lips
and find that caress
only love dares share
in your arms
I realize now
I'm home
I search for the sanctuary
behind the edges
of your essence
and discover
the many colours of your being
painting the rainbows
in the sky
hear the songs born
of righteousness and hope
escape your lips
and find that caress
only love dares share
in your arms
I realize now

I can’t accept this 2016 talking point being pushed by the media again in 2023 of, “…voters don’t like either candidate.”
😒
It’s such bullsh*t.
I was proud to vote for Secretary Clinton in 2016, and will be proud to vote (again) for President Biden and MVP.

Canada has many beautiful National Parks, and I am looking at each park's history.
Today, it is Kouchibouguac National Park!
Located in New Brunswick, the park is in the territory of the Mi'kmaq.

My mom, sick with covid: Ugh, I'm so tired of being sick!
Me: Guess you shoulda got vaxxed, huh?
Her: Haha no. It doesn't do anything.
Me: Literally no one else around you is sick and we're all vaxxed..
Her: so?

One of the best gifts I’ve received is being a character in the Spoutible Bay Mystery series.
Avery has worked tirelessly to make these stories fun and creative. They are witty and charming and they hold some of Spoutible’s history.
I’m so honoured to be included. Thanks Avery!
Love,
April 💛

I have no problem with the badges. But on a large scale, social psychology will play out whenever there is a distinction with one group and another (as it is now).
I feel the negative effects of the badges may outweigh the positive impacts.

If you have an abortion, there's a stigma.
If you have a baby, but are unmarried or a teenager, there's a stigma.
If you're married but don't have any children, there's a stigma.
Almost seems like it's not really about babies but trying to control women and judging their own personal choices.

My dad passed away about three months ago. Even though we had a great relationship, I wasn’t there for his funeral. He and I were both at peace with that.
And it will forever be a card I can play for any other funeral I might want to skip.
Mark, you’re odd.
It’s what my dad would have wanted.
