Good grief!

After being gaslit for years by Brexiteers, causing untold division, stress, & uncertainty in the UK, they now lament the impact it had on them and plead with us to move on.

Oh hell no! These narcissists can get in the fucking sea.

We (LeVar Burton Reads) won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Society and Culture Podcast! It really has been a joy to help curate these stories for the show. Incredible, incredible times.

Let's Talk About - Snoop Dogg's Wine. Sometimes we be doing too much, and by we, I'm talking about this dude in Peachtree City, GA. I have zero issue with Kroger promoting Black businesses during BHM. That said, the placement could have been better.

I'm trying to listen to the Spaces Q&A from earlier today.

CB, you are calling someone else disingenuous, but you are being very disingenuous in your characterization of the people asking questions yesterday.

I'm #Queer . I'm #disabled . I'm #sexpositive . This was not cishet white women 1/

Please explain to me how continuing to call people trolls and dunking on marginalized people who had legit questions about a policy they'd never read before is respectful and not toxic. I live-spouted your Spaces yesterday. I think you should read the thread.

I love spoutible, but let's not just echo and like each others spouts...let's have conversations and debates. Share ideas and opinions. That's how we learn and grow. Just do it without disrespecting each other!

As a brown person if any question about the site will be framed this way, it's going to silence anyone bringing up concerns or questions because if they do they're being racist. Considering you said you want to be able to have discussions on a site, that doesn't seem to best way to go about it.

Yeah, shutting yourself off from reasonable criticism because it involves your new fave is definitely healthy and a good sign for the development this platform. /s

OK, just a heads-up that it can be triggering for folks who have been stalked or bullied. I don't care if people look at my profile--I just don't really want to know about it.

Why do site owners insist on participating in the conversation? This is so weird to me. It's like going to a restaurant where the owner randomly shows up at your table to comment on something they overheard.

I see Spoutible as a true public square. If you can't do it on the commons, you can't here. I don't see where providing a link to, say, your site where you peddle or busk, is any different than having business cards to give. Romance novels are fully displayed in shops, so this uproar is stupid.

I'm appreciative of what Mr. Bouzy has done here but some of the obsequiousness borders on Elon Musk idolatry. Dial it back a bit.

This reply is the exact same impulsive, reactionary energy as on the bird site, and it reflects the same attitude as that of fascists throughout history who want to control others through censorship and erasure by defining what's "acceptable".

It also misses the entire point of my original spout.

If you have no other interests other than watching graphic pornography, then clearly this is not the place for you. BTW, nowhere does it say adult content creators can't have accounts here. They just can't post or link porn.

The Puritans didn't leave England to create a nation free to all religions. They went somewhere new so that they could enforce their own draconian rules on everyone else.

I also haven't seen a place we can contact with concerns - if there's a right way to do that outside of the "public square". It seems like everything is being viewed as a full on attack on the platform when many of us know it's new and needs time to iron out potential policy issues.

It's so frustrating. Neurodivergence often results in over explaining because you are misunderstood so often. Could that be considered bullying here? The amount of bullying I've had in my life at the hands of allistic folks over misunderstandings leaves me worried these policies might be abused.

After seeing the behaviour on twitter today, and clearly not hearing valid concerns via the statement - I'm definitely not 100% sure this is the place for me. sleepysnorlax were you able to find out why you were beached? I'm left wondering what they identified as harassment and bullying.

Dude stop being disingenuous. You really haven’t heard of images of queer sexuality being used against us? Of depictions of queer sexual desire being used as weapons? Shit, we’re labeled as groomers right fucking now! And the amount of passive homophobia I’ve experienced here far outweighs Twitter.

I'm not part of a coordinated campaign. I'm a person who knows people who can't afford food without sharing links to their adult content on Twitter because that's the only way they can make money. If this is to be the Twitter replacement, these folks deserve to be free from hate & harassment too.

Broad is the problem here, not vague. Basically anything that could be interpreted as even the slightest bit sexual could be randomly weaponized, because literally everything the pregamers brainstormed is included, but no framework was created to actually define where the line is on any given thing.
Jay Mara @JayMaraH
OMG go to another site already. Are you harassing Noam on Post? Go start your own site - Grow up. Anything. Post.news TOS is even more vague.

Will the sexual content policy be updated to reflect this?
Also, will you remove the posts targeting the victim of sexual harassment? Or is cross platform abuse only forbidden for users?
