Thank you, but that isn't true. The whole purpose of Spoutible is to allow as many voices to participate in the process as possible. If the community had voted on allowing adult content, I would've found a way to make it work. I am not a dictator, and I can admit when I have made a mistake.

This spout was deleted.

Then actually clarify what is ok and not ok under adult content. And explain why we can't have posts intended to arouse, even with content warnings and the blurring of images so one has to actively engage with content.

This is not a safe space for LGBTQ people or sex workers or kinksters

Not allowing adult content isn't remotely something that makes this an unsafe space for those groups. Your post seems to be severely in bad faith.

Do you go on Roblox and complain that they don't allow adult content?
Just because a site is tangentially related to Twitter design doesn't make it Twitter.
If you want to jerk off, there are other sites to go to. Demanding a site become your spank bank is a whole lotta privilege.

BECAUSE NO ONE HERE WANTS TO WATCH THAT MESS, THAT’S WHY!!!!!!

Take that to X or Only Fans.

You can’t create your own kink platform? Why not? Lazy? It’s far easier for you to snipe at Mr. Bouzy & move goal posts than it is for you to put your money where your mouth is.

Dude, that's what Twitter is for. I am gay and honestly don't want to see your dick on here. That's what Twitter, Tumblr and other sites are for. I find Spoutible to be infinitely more of an accepting and safe space than FB, Twitter, or Instagram. You just want to monetize your penis on another site

The greater part of the Internet has pictures that are there to “arouse”, we don’t need it here and the majority have made it extremely clear that we don’t want it. If it’s all you can post then maybe this is not the platform for you.

Perhaps the issue is that you're confusing this "social media" site w/one of the 1000's of readily available "adult content" sites widely available on the internet where your type of interests would be more than welcome bc here they are not. Stating that this makes it unsafe for LGBTQ+ is offensive.

Seriously. WTF does porn and monetizing sexual content have to do with being LGBTQ? This is not the place for sexual content. There's plenty of other places to go look for that. Let's keep Spoutible family friendly.

I believe sex workers can ply their trade and advertise their services without posting nude or partially nude pictures.

LBGTQ+ people are not "adult" or "explicit" content. So you equating them with porn is reprehensible.

You'd be surprised how many str8 people think queer sexuality is obscene in any form & how they use it against us to diminish our power. Heck, just Google the kinds of complaints Pride festivals get every year. Finally, if you think Spoutible is immune to that, I have some great NFTs for you.

Aren't there like 8 jillion places on the internet where you/others can post explicitly sexual content? The only logical reason you/others are making this your hill to die on is a concerted sabotage of Spoutible. Your demands of a private business are absolutely ridiculous.

Please provide your definition of "safe." It seems you mean "I get to do what I want when I want." The real meaning is "protected from or not exposed to danger or risk; not likely to be harmed or lost." You want what you want? Go find it. You just won't find it here.

I want to be able to talk about the sexual and adult topics that are important to me without fear of being banned. If you're not interested in such topics, don't follow people like that. But to have the option not available is wrong and as is the policy is open to interpretation and discrimination

Queer kinkster here & you don't speak for me. I voted early to not have explicit sexual images here, because I don't usually want those things in my daily life. Way too often on the bird app I'd suddenly have hard-core porn, gay and straight, pop up & it squicked me out.

My social media presence includes politics, my hobbies, my cat and my sexuality. We clearly wouldn't be in the same spaces and that's fine. I'm not trying to force this on anyone. But the policy is so vague you cannot know what is acceptable or not and moderators can discriminate.

The last sentence says it all. It's a declaration of something that is NOT TRUE, and one of the main draws of Spoutible is that it is not a cesspool of disinformation like Twitter. This is why you are REALLY attacking. You're using LGBTQ & sex workers as a cover.
