I've actually felt like much of the "content" created here is from the serious intelligent conversations about controversial topics. So we all become creators by contributing to the discussion. Never felt like that on other platforms. Nice work Aaron.

I'm a "user", not a content creator. for a site to be satisfying you need to keep showing up & nudging it in directions that interest you. takes patience. it took YEARS to develop what I've always thought of as my twitter 'magazine'. it's already moving much faster here.

Lot of people on here I've followed for over a decade online. Truly great people. Missing about 20 maybe, but I see this place as the cool speakeasy on a block filled with noisy warehouse clubs owned by Russian oligarchs.

Have to slum it around a little like the old days, but this is home for me.

Brilliant thread. These are the things that usually never cross the mind of social media users. "We're not going to be Twitter, we're going to be something better, ours" is pretty much my feeling about Spoutible. Its apart, and singular among such platforms, with the most cohesive community anywhere

Such clarity! Thanks Aaron. Spoutible feels like home because we can participate as much or as little as we want or are able to based on real life time commitments. I love the new renovations made on features. Love the community and feel like I can contribute even if I can't be online all the time.

This is perfectly stated and correct, IMO. I couldnt articulate this myself, but reading what you laid out made me go, Yes! This!!!
We all have needs & wants, and not everyone is going to be happy in these waters right now or maybe ever. But for some, this is the place for us! Our place!✌🏾

Thanks for this thread Aaron! What makes this platform unique is HOW we interact with each other.
