3 years ago tonight I received a call from my Oncologist that I had Stage 4 Melanoma that started in my liver. He also said if it was 5 years earlier I would be dead! I started immunology 2 weeks later and am cancer-free after 2 years of treatment!

I did immune therapy too. It is amazing. Now they are testing individualized mRNA vaccines too. There are some amazing things going on.

It will be interesting to see how these advances impact other type of cancer.

Your doctor did not lie. My mother had ocular melanoma and died when it reached her liver. Congratulations on being cancer free! I hope every day brings you joy.

Congratulations on ringing the bell. I'm sure that it was hard work. I did the same about a year ago.

My sister in-law has survived two melanoma's 15 years apart in the same spot. She isn't supposed to be here.

Glad there are treatments if it shows up again.

Fellow cancer survivor says Yay!

Edit: And it's not a competition as to who had the more severe cancer. But if it were, you would win hands down. Really happy for you.
