My strict preference is paperback, but when travelling abroad, it’s easier with E-books.

My house is full of organized books but a few years ago I decided it was time to stop buying so many and to let some go. That was the problem, buying and keeping.

I reluctantly tried a Kindle and much to my surprise I love it. It's always with me and it's very legible inside or outside.

I love paperbacks. That said, my brother convinced me to get a large screen Samsung phone and shared Moon Reader Pro with me and I now read 95% of books on my phone at exactly the right font size. No need to bring a bigger device. Perfect with Libby app.

My iPad mini and Apple Books is perfect for me. I can carry my entire library with me wherever I go.

For my favorite authors, it’s hard covers. I’ll get bargain books in paperback (library sales and used bookstores) and electronic only when I’m reading a series and I can’t get either a hardcover or paperback for one of the series book.

Used to buy books all the time when I lived in Ontario until the iPad came out and then it seemed so much easier to buy e-books, I currently have about 2 1/2 thousand books on my iPad so I read no less, probably more.

Kindle most often because it is easy on my hands, and that is a real challenge to hold even a paperback without pain. But I still collect and love my hard and soft cover books.

Hardcovers for me, especially if it’s a series or something from one of my favourite authors. I will do paperback if it’s new or I missed my chance at HC though.

#SpoutAbout #Books . Kindle. Because I can have them immediately. When they're all checked out, the public library has " while you wait" suggestions.

I don't mind a screen as long as it's not too small. There's so much great stuff on the Internet Archive. (I've spent a lot of time reading 1950s sci fi there; they have a section called The Pulp Magazine Archive.) I'm with Kyle, though, on not using a phone.

I care about content, not format. Could be in crayon on a brown paper bag, if legible. I do like Kindle books for being able to choose the font size and to have an infinite number of books on one device. But it's the words that matter!

Not picky, though I prefer not to read my Kindle or best hardcovers in the bathtub.

I don't do audiobooks. If I'm traveling, I put music on.

Hard cover for favorites, paperback for most, and e-reader or phone for when I am traveling. Books are heavy and I travel a lot, so I'll usually carry one or two and have others on my Kindle app

Kindle app. My 4,000 books in my pocket. Next is audio. I love Chirp for its daily inexpensive offers. Download from the app store. I promise you won't regret it.

paperback. I like the feel of it. 😍
And I’m too cheap to shell out $27+ for the avg hardcover (but will gladly read on if a friend had shelled out their money and lets me borrow theirs!!) 🤣🤣

I agree with most others, here. I need the print on paper. Hardback or paperback. It's so much easier on the eyes. And the scent of paper books... it goes without saying

I don’t care as long as it’s an actual book that I can hold in my hands. Don’t like reading in electronic devices at all!

Any type- so long as it’s an actual book and not digital. Def NOT my preference. I grew up on libraries and card catalogs.
If the book is a “keeper”, hard cover all the way 🙃
