With this new information, I have to go with Willy’s Jeep. Such squared lines. I love it.

Why are new pickups so ridiculously large and overpriced? Eyesores, wasteful, dangerous, difficult to maneuvere, and in most cases you can even carry mice more than these could.

I agree! We wanted to buy a truck but only wanted something small like those old Toyota trucks from back in the day.

I like all these beautiful trucks, but I'm picking the International. We had one back in the last century. I don't know what year it was....it looked really similar except it was in well-used farm condition, and the interior was really rotting out. It was decommissioned before I could drive it.

My vote- The Ford with the wood panel sides- nice touch. Probably early precursor to the woody looking station wagons.

In real life wood bedracks were added by the owner to help keep things in the bed. We had them on all four sides of the bed but much higher, in order to transport small livestock, feed, seed, etc.

I love the woody station wagons but what I’d really love was a Volkswagen Thing, dark green like this one but the a tan leather canopy and interior, and wood side panels. I saw it in my old home town and fell in love.

Have to go with the Dodge, cuz MOPAR.
Also my grandfather had an old Powerwagon ice truck behind his blacksmith shop that he never got running again.

Have to go with the Dodge Powerwagon. The 48, would have been bought just in time for the 49 discovery of the Nimrud Ivories in Northern Iraq. I can just imagine Sir Max Mallowan driving through the desert with his wife Dame Agatha Christie (yes that AC) as he explored & Discovered the 6000 pieces.

There’s quite a few farms not too far from me and every once in a while I’ll see a old-timey work truck. My fav for the week is the look of the International

Voting again for the Willys out of nostalgia. In the 70s we had a Willys Wagon. I think it was a '49.

But that Chevy is a beaut. They always turn my head when I see one.

My first car was a 93 Jeep Cherokee Sport. My second, and current, car is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler four door. So yep, my vote goes to the Willys.

There is something appealing about each truck. However, the a) black Ford gets my vote for its simple elegance, clean lines.

So what you're saying is you had a Sanford & Sons special, huh?

I'd take the Jeep. It will not be a plush ride, but you'll get a real good feel for the road beneath you! 🤣

It's gotta be that shiny black Ford. (Bonus points if it comes with the boat in the background.)
