1923: Hitler’s coup failed. No real consequences, no changes. 10 years later, he and his co-conspirators took over Germany.

2021: Trump’s coup failed. No real consequences, no changes. 26.5 months later, he is holding hate rallies and his co-conspirators are still in Congress.

I don't know why you call all the indictments and lawsuits "no real consequences"
Truth is that sociopaths like Hitler and Trump don't understand consequences and are not influenced b them, before or after having them.

Indictments and lawsuits are mere inconveniences to Trump; he's been fighting these for decades.

And yet, trying to make people understand how dire this is gets one blocked here by people who have their head so far in the sand they’re going to lose their alleged minds when this comes full circle, likely as soon as 2024 🙄

Hitler was convicted of treason and put in prison, where he wrote Mein Kampf and was released in less than a year. So while I understand the frustration, I think there is more value in making sure we do it right with Trump than do it quickly.

History will remember Joe Biden as the president who let democracy slip through his fingers.

Yeah someone need's to spine up and shock us...by actually following the law and stopping his never ending assault on our government, our democracy and our citizens.

Very dangerous - no doubt. And if they could take over entirely they would - they want to. But, they are being undercut somewhat at the polls. After two years of doom and gloom regarding the midterms… the doom and gloom was wrong. MAGA isn’t growing. So… there’s that. Has to be part of the equation.

I still have faith. This is one big, slimy, stinkin’ fish. I believe DOJ is being extremely cautious. They have one big shot at stopping this cretin in his tracks.

Now that is my prayer. Guilty.
