Although I’ve been on Spoutible since the beginning, I haven’t been very active. I expect to show up more in the future.
I was diagnosed with uterine cancer yesterday and it occurs to me Spoutible might be a safe place to write about it as well as a place to find resources.

I'm a survivor of uterine cancer. It came out of nowhere and was quite a shock. I had robotic surgery. Today I'm almost 4 years down the road and doing great. I wish you the very best. If you have questions or need support, I'm here.

Thank you so much. That’s what I’m going to have as well (surgery by robot I think). Is there a way to send private messages here? I’m still learning how to use the platform.

I am so sorry. You have a journey ahead of you. I suggest you get in touch with your local American Cancer Society. They offer numerous resources for support and assistance. They were especially helpful in learning how to eat around treatments. Sending you positive healing thoughts.

So sorry for this news. I will keep you in my thoughts. I'm not sure if we are mutual follows or not. While I'm not a religious or prayerful person, I strongly believe in the power of empathy and positive energy in healing. So sending some your way along the interwebs....

A few years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Treatment took about a year, consisting of chemo/resection surgery/radiation/more chemo. Wasn't given much of a chance, but refused to give in & give up. 10 years later & I'm still here, cancer free. Fight like hell! Don't let cancer win!
