With each new wave, we learn a lot, and we learned a lot over the past 72 hours. We know what worked really well, what needs to be tweaked, and what we need to scrap altogether. It's not normal to receive a 708.65% increase in traffic overnight, but it was an excellent stress test for us.

In February, when the platform would go down daily, we made fixes and added resources/capacity to handle a sudden 300% surge in traffic. We were not expecting a 708.65% surge in traffic within 24 hours. Twitter having a complete meltdown definitely caught us off guard.
