I read the article slightly differently. Johnson realizes one of the discharge petitions WILL succeed. That bill then WILL pass, leaving Johnson with no input on it. If he allows a stand alone vote to take place, vhe can have some part in crafting it.

That depends on when they were lat built or rebuilt. Those not rebuilt since the mid 19th century, fair enough. Those last rebuilt in the late 19 century, like Chicago, were built around trains and streetcars. Those rebuilt since WWI and esp WWII, like LA, ere built around cars.

Texas will survive, but its economy will take enough of a hit to make Brexit look like a walk in the park. They would probably want to negotiate entry into USMCA or a free trade pact with Mexico.

Besides what other people have suggested, there is always red velvet cake, carrot cake, spice cake, angel food cake, and if they are still in the stores, fruit cake. For packing in a lunch, I am partial to anything that does not require frosting, which rules out red velvet.

Long overdue. You don't get security updates any more. I have had good luck with my OnePlus 7T. They make good phones, just don't buy the latest generation. Wait for the last generation to show up on eBay. Mine is four years old.
