Elon Musk is trying to hide who are the shareholders behind Twitter.

Here's a list that was shared before the account sharing it was locked down.

Folks laughed when we said they were coming for Roe. Dismissed us when we said contraceptives and IVF were in jeopardy. And didn’t care when we said they were going to come for marriage equality next.
Wake up people. Believe what they say and watch what they do

Is this MoodyMonday material? Maybe not but I loved this song when I first heard it sung by a contestant on American Idol.

Toronto Star: “Liudmyla Pass, 68, had been in Newfoundland less than a month when she climbed the stairs to the long-silent clock tower in … Carbonear on Tuesday, armed with her tools and five decades of expertise.
About four hours later, she had the clock's gears clicking and turning.”

So no, I am not delusional. I just know the landscape today will be significantly different in a few months. Spoutible will be uniquely positioned to capture significant market share when Twitter rapidly spirals out of control as the election heats up and Threads doesn't deliver.

Unline Twitter, we will use Pods to its full potential by hosting exclusive events, Q&A sessions with high-profile people, and debates with 2024 candidates. But the unique features we will release will make the experience different from anything you have seen to date.

The Pods demonstration had many of the features disabled because we didn't want to tip our hat before we officially launched Pods. But once we launch, it will quickly become evident where we are going with Pods and why it will be better than Spaces even in its infancy.

This is where Spoutible comes in and why we spent a year working 6 - 7 days a week, adding all the key features before the end of 2023. Spoutible Pods was the last piece we needed, and it will be the feature that catapults Spoutible to the top three Twitter alternatives.

When people start organizing for 2024 and realize just how limited Threads is, they will be on the hunt again for an alternative. However, this time, the migration will not be fueled by larger accounts but the smaller accounts that require the key features Threads and Bluesky do not offer.

Threads give large accounts the engagement and followers they desire and offer people looking for their favorite followers a place to go. The problem is that although many of these people spend considerable time on Twitter, they don't understand what makes Twitter... "Twitter."

When Elon acquired Twitter, those same individuals told everyone they were moving to Mastodon, but that quickly faded because of Mastodon's complexity and its decentralized nature. But those same individuals pushed Mastodon daily for several weeks before it faded.

Threads quickly became popular because of Instagram and high-profile accounts on Twitter looking to grow their audience quickly. These individuals told their followers they were migrating to Threads, and many of their followers followed them. We have seen this before, just on a smaller scale.

When I say Spoutible will become one of the top three Twitter alternatives, people think I am delusional. I am not basing my prediction on the current landscape, but will happen in the not-too-distant future. It looks like Threads is the defacto replacement for Twitter and the winner... it's not.

It's not even close now. Plus once Pods are activated for full use for everybody...you bet it's going to be a lot of Sunday-morning pods on here that's a lot better than network TVs.
Christopher Bouzy @cbouzy
In just 10 months, we not only caught up to Twitter but also surpassed them in key features, accomplishing in that time what took Twitter 17 years to achieve. Now just imagine what we will accomplish in another 10 months.🐳

I responded to him and called him an unpleasant word. I then told him what he stated was false and it was a hoax by a competitor and YouTube grifters. He promptly blocked me. I would have done it privately and sent him a DM, but Threads doesn't have DMs.🤷🏾‍♂️

It's stupidity, malice, racism, and jealousy. They know Threads and Bluesky aren't it, but they refuse to come here. So to keep others from coming here, they say asinine nonsense like $89 code. I typically ignore it because actions speak louder than words, but I made an exception for him.
dani @danismashingit
I love the $89 thing.

It shows either profound stupidity or incredible malice.

Just like when they start talking about you working from home, as though that were something to be embarrassed about. How many successful businesses have started in basements, garages and kitchens? Plenty. Dumbasses.

Honestly, it wouldn't be. Some of the most popular websites on the internet are built on free open-source code. That is why most coders were like "so what?" I get annoyed because it is an insult to the people who work on Spoutible 5 - 6 days a week.
dani @danismashingit
$89 would be impressive as hell though 😜

That is at the heart of all of this. They know the other alternatives lack the features they desperately want, but they don't want to join a platform committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and accountability. They think they hate us now, wait until they see what we do in 2024.
Casey Wagner @CannibalHoliday
It's even funnier that they will say that it's $89 dollar Russian code as an insult, and yet the subject of their insult is more feature rich than the platforms they're posting from that have hundreds of millions sunk into development and CEO bonuses.
