The lesser of two evils is why the Trump impeachments were bi-partisan. Romney is definitely evil, but I guarantee you the guy the Utah Republican Party wanted was much, much worse. Liberals who understand the assignment helped Romney win the Republican primary.

It’s just outside the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in southern Utah. It’s probably a pinyon, they’re not usually gnarly like this, but it can happen to any tree growing on the edge of a cliff. There are bristlecones around here too, but they grow at higher elevations.

Nearly everyone in my family/extended family is way better off. Several sold houses for ~100k more than we thought we’d get, some of the youngsters got better jobs, bought condos or started college, my daughter got out of a bad marriage; all were greatly helped by stimulus $ and st loan furlough.
