I used to have between 25-30 per month, both regular but with no aura AND ocular migraines that would temporarily blind me. So, even though this is a hell of it's own making, you're right that it's better than the alternative. Thank you for the good wishes!!

Well folks, today I'm going to let a neurosurgeon stick 8 needles in my neck on either side of my spine, insert some wires & then proceed to burn the living daylights out of the nerves there. Then they will take about a month to die. And then I'll have less migraines for the 5 months after that.

It's my birthday and THIS is 68! I celebrate my age instead of using fillers, hair dye, Botox or surgery. While everyone should do whatever works for the, I love watching my face and body morph as age and gravity rearrange the flesh, while my spirit still feels like a kid.

In the last 4 weeks I've ran over 15 miles. That's a lot for my slowpokey self. 2 mile runs here and there do add up! Running for me chases the blues away 💙. It's been over 10 yrs since I really ran. My plan is to run more this year & do a few 5ks or longer fun races. Here's to sticking with it!
