Elon Musk keeps trying to find ways to not pay Black people for the harm he causes them. Tesla's request to not pay a Black plaintiff's award from a jury case was rejected by a federal judge on appeal

When my Black peers tell me they want to own a Tesla, I take them to task immediately. I let them know that Tesla has the US govt suing them for anti-Black racism abuses inside the company. I then hear a, "I didn't know " , mumble before my Black peer changes the subject. Why don't they know?!

If the news is too much and you need a mental break, try watching Netflix series "The Devil's Plan." It's a reality math and logic show w/12 contestants. The younger contestants quickly learn that their older peers who form teams achieve more. Can you play the games and guess who will win?

In response to Bun the Franky.
When I took a job in South Carolina, I received no relocation assistance. It cost me $10,000.00 of my own money to move as a renter, not as a homeowner. You're correct. Most Americans can't afford to move from their current locations because the financial cost is high. 😱

Quoting this because apparently there are some privileged dipshits that still need to hear it.
Bun the Franky @ZomBunnyFrankJust to make it clear:10:59 AM - Jul 12, 2023
The average cost of an interstate move in America is $5,000.
The number of people in America with less than $5,000 is savings is 75%.
Do the fucking math. And quit shitting on people who don't have the privilege to make a choice about which state they live in.

Most Americans consider themselves "middle class" or above. However, the US government may mathematically classify many households as "low income".
This can be traumatic info when a person or family is looking for a new home.

Elijah Manley @ielijahmanleyStop telling people in Florida to just move. Moving is expensive and not everyone can afford to leave and start everything over. I’m also not going to just move from my home, where I have grown and loved because a fascist dictator wants me to. I’m fighting to take back my home.02:25 PM - Mar 01, 2023

I'm perfectly comfortable and resigned to the fact Spoutible won't be for everybody. Different strokes and all that. We definitely wouldn't force anyone to be here. We're not a cult insisting you "be one of us"...

It is critical for student populations to represent us all.
I got so much out of my experience at RIT and that experience was directly and positively influenced by the minority and disabled communities that accepted me. nurtured me, and cheered me to acheivement.
It's critical we serve as allies.
