I hear that canoes, rowboats, and kayaks are particularly good with alternative power. Especially a good meal after a day on the water.

There are apprenticeship programs, community college programs, but a lot of people aren't interested in going into construction. The work is hard. There used to be a lot of immigrants who would do it, but with attempts to keep people from entering the country, that's out.

Labor costs in construction have gone up. There's a big shortage of people to do the work and there's lots of competition to get tem for projects. That alone was caused a lot of delays.

I like the French term l'esprit de l'escalier, or wit of the stairs, when it comes to you on your way out.

Absolute. Not just conservatives, but *originalists*. Who were ready to toss something because they deemed it unimportant and irrelevant. I can still smell the hypocrisy.

Nonsense. You started with politicians not speaking out against governments that oppress minorities. Plenty of Democrats have done that since the 1960s, usually in a quest for oil access. Now you try moving the topic so you can feel righteous. Pull your own head out of the sand.

I wouldn't even call it pro-business because it's so stupid. You want a healthy workforce that can remain productive and not make potentially dangerous mistakes due to heat exposure.

Always good questions. As it's Gallup, you can usually find that they provide such info. There's a PDF link at the bottom of their piece. Splits, comparable answers also in it. And as it's directly from Gallup, there is no media intermediary.

Agreed. At least in most disciplines where simplification is used to reduce the burden of fiendish partial different equations, they can show the simplified models work and know when they don't.

It's a matter of bad simplification, I think. All science and engineering need to simplify real problems to solve the. But when economists do it, they ease out what is often most needed and treat their results like natural law.
