Respectfully disagree. Would be like a Jewish person in the early 1930s that voted for the Nazis because they thought they could influence from within. I mean today’s GOP doesn’t have any truly principled stands on anything except bigotry.

Horrific, but I find the statement from the coach strange. Almost like what happened affected all the players in the same way, when clearly black players were being targeted. I’m sure the white players were uncomfortable and all but they weren’t the ones made to feel unequal & demeaned.

The question is how many of the 11% voted for Trump last time. Are the % of Republicans not voting for Trump increasing? My father was a Republican that never voted for Trump. They do exist.

Agree completely. Corporations are generally evil, but that’s to be expected given their incentive to drive profits at all costs. The problem is when they have more power than the people do in the way government is run. While the GOP is now just a political cult, Dems share plenty of blame here.

Democrats are at fault on this too. Biden told people to take off their masks and return to normal because it was politically and economically expedient, consequences be damned. We could have had ventilation standards, mask mandates on public transit, & more remote work. But instead we got stupid.
