My mom always said children were like flowers and needed plenty of fresh air and sunshine to grow up healthy.
When you consider the poor air quality in homes during that era, pre-vaccines/pre-antibiotics for some, it probably was better for babies to spend more time outdoors.

I bundled my daughter in a snowsuit and set her on the porch to watch her dad shovel snow. She was a little over a year. When the walkway was clear he'd get her out to play.

When I was a young toddler...my mother would tie me to an old oak tree in our yard. It was long enough for me to explore, but kept me from wandering away....explains a lot I guess

The major platforms can do it, but they choose not to do it.
Tom Cee @tomc
How is it that you manage to implement this stuff whereas much larger platforms cannot seem to do it? Is it lack of will on their part, or is there a technical reason?

We have also been developing Accuracy Alerts for images. The first image is the false claim, and Accuracy Alerts successfully debunk the false claims made in the image.

Accuracy Alert!

Based on the information provided, it seems that various organizations like and Google have been developing technologies for accurate detection and identification of AI-generated images. There's mention of tools like 's image detection system for images generated by DALL-E 3, Google's Imagen 2, and efforts by the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity. However, there's no clear information about a system named 'Accuracy Alerts' specifically designed for debunking false claims made in images. Therefore, while the development and enhancement of AI image detection tools seem evident, the claim about 'Accuracy Alerts' for images cannot be verified as true from the given sources.

Some men are predators, most men don’t give a shit, a few men care, but they all look like men.

And so all of them benefit from the fear of violence from any of them and then some of them keep hunting us while the rest say they’re good guys and do fuck all about it.

A friend listens to audiobooks at 1.5 speed - she gets through a lot of books!
Maybe it's my love of theatre, but I enjoy the performance (also why I'm picky about which ones I'll listen to) ... it's a way for me to escape in my library space/reading room, away from the daily chores!

Taylor Swift added songs from her new record-breaking album to the European leg of her Eras Tour, and one of the songs is called 'Bouzy Is The Coolest.'

Accuracy Alert!

The key findings from the sources assessed suggest that Taylor Swift did indeed add songs from her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," to the European leg of her Eras Tour. However, there is no mention in the provided sources about a song titled 'Bouzy Is The Coolest.' Therefore, the claim can be partially validated: it is accurate to state that Taylor Swift added songs from her new record-breaking album to the European leg of her Eras Tour, but the claim about the specific song 'Bouzy Is The Coolest' is unsubstantiated based on the available sources.

This is how you manage a social media platform!
Something tells me this has been possible in one form or another for at least a decade, which is infuriating. If the evil jokers running FB and xhitter, etc. actually cared about something other than 💰️💰️💰️💰️🤬
Christopher Bouzy @cbouzy
And yet you see Accuracy Alerts working extremely well, and it will only get better from here. Humans can't fact-check thousands of posts a minute in real-time. So by the time the claim is fact-checked by a human, it will already be seen by thousands. 🤷🏾‍♂️

audible's 'listen to a sample' feature has saved me a lot of $$ ... if I don't like what I'm hearing, it's a hard-pass from me on the audiobook.
My background/experience is in theatre, so I'm a huge fan of good actors - many of them (not big names) do some fine narration.
But that AI crap? Nah...

I have no idea, but I hate it.

I think there's also something in the layout and materials used in a lot of places that seem to amplify sound rather than absorbing it. To my ears, it felt like the noise was bouncing off the walls and ceiling like waves on a pond, coming from everywhere at once.

Agree! Why do restaurants insist on blasting music so loud? Seems like all the casual dining eateries do it now and it is annoying AF.
