In 2021, COVID-19 took my mom. I didn't have many photos of her when she was young a woman, so I took the photo from her 1969 citizenship documents, restored it, and then turned it in to a glass portrait.

My sister in law is with us, starting hospice care here. The chemo was ugly and didn’t make a dent. We have been friends all our lives. A brave woman, had to deal with disability all her life was always open about being gay but paid the price for being open most of the time. ❤️ to the end
