I love that on my weekly call with my parents my dad said he didn't want to talk about tfg because it makes his blood pressure go off the charts. Boomers are not a monolith and many of them are just as upset about what's happening as everyone else.

AZ Senate voted to repeal the 1864 total abortion ban. Gov. Hobbs will sign ASAP. But make no mistake: we won't forget the AZ House cheering when the first repeal vote failed. All this repeal demonstrates is that Republicans are scared to death of what's in store for them in November.

I've nicknamed Vax "butter bean" because she wraps herself around my arm while I rub her belly and is just the cutest little bean. My wife heard me call her that and got upset because she says I'm calling her fat because that's what calling someone butter bean means. I'd never heard that before.

Having 4 cats I do a head count every night and morning. This silly boy snuck in the pantry (it's really just a small closet) when I grabbed a snack last night. This morning I was calling to him and not a peep. So because he's done this before I opened the pantry and he just casually comes out. 🤦
