It's the first week of June and my surface is completely ice free. But does anyone say great job melting that ice Louise? Nope. Once again my work goes unheralded. Maybe I'll just make it harder to get to see the results of my efforts. Road construction on my only access road? Perfect.

For dessert this evening I made coconut panna cotta with blackberry sauce, strawberry mousse, mango popping pearls, pistachios, edible flowers, mint leaves, & lemon zest. I also made a modeling chocolate/dark chocolate covered puffed quinoa blackberry for the top of the panna cotta. 😊 #dessert

Got great news from the surgeon. No surgery for now. The tumor hasn't grown. And I'm still symptom-free. I'll be monitored. Meeting with the colon specialist next month.

Yesterday, while in route to Granny's house, I read a post about a guy whose wife was treating him the way men have treated their wives for centuries. Towards the end he mentioned someone accusing Spoutible of being white centered (the accuracy of it all) and how white people were toxic.

In 2021, COVID-19 took my mom. I didn't have many photos of her when she was young a woman, so I took the photo from her 1969 citizenship documents, restored it, and then turned it in to a glass portrait.

When I was younger I remember my dad taking me outside to look at the stars and the moon. That helped create a curiosity and sense of wonder I still have to this day. It’s #worth the time to stop and look up to explore the space around you, near and far. #moon
