At 14 I contrived a scheme, give myself a chance stay suicide free. At 15 it was complete and successful. The goal was to give myself 3 years before I decided absolutely to suicide . The led to a larger inclusive life I didn't expect. It felt like winning the lottery every day from age 18 onward.
