People have the right to choose to block, or to unfollow, but if you cannot try to see the other end and only hyper focus on what you've been told, then you're very susceptible to future disinformation campaigns. You must learn the patterns to avoid the next pitfall. That means listening and trying.

My cat and my family member who was in hospice both died. It's a grief I feel I cannot overcome. A part of me died with my cat. I'm changing. I think I will take this chance to say hug your family member. They will not be around forever. Take pictures, videos, love them. Memories are everlasting.

15 years ago, I dropped out of college because of severe depression. I thought of taking my own life because I felt the world around me had collapsed. I even admitted myself into a hospital.

Yep. I had to remind a white friend that virtually EVERYTHING the GOP is doing, while it will affect people of all races, is primarily targeted at African Americans. And it's why I push for everyone in my demographic to get out and vote.

This isn't new. Black and Indigenous infants have always had much higher mortality rates when compared to White infants. The fact that this is true is evidence of systemic racism alone, but so is the fact that there has never been significant actions broadly taken to improve survival rates.
