Good article but I would be remiss it I didn't highlight that there are a plethora of Black American's who have restaurants in New Orleans who have been providing authentic dishes for many decades. Those places have served as a hub for Black history as well as cuisine. It's sad they weren't included

Listening to the police radio with all the reports of shootings and sightings of potential suspects all over campus at Michigan State, expresses the stress the kids must be feeling and the fear at every noise they hear hiding all over campus. I feel so bad for them. We have failed our young people.
