Here's one of the many sites talking about it. One thing that shocked me while reading a lot of stuff about the condition/procedure last week was what a high rate of complications cataract surgery has in terms of this particular complication. This site says 20-50%, but some others say even higher.

Good luck! My right eye's been through a lot: 2018 emergency surgery for a detached retina, 2019 surgery for a macular hole, 2022 cataract surgery after those whammies, & Tuesday I'll be getting some "YAG cap" lasering because it's gotten cloudy again. I so hope that my left eye continues to behave!

I used to play this for my children back in the day when we were collecting lots of My Back Pages versions due to it showing up in an Ozy and Millie comic. Though the version we had had what sounded like a street preacher at the beginning, before the music started.

As a teen I would sometimes extract the squeakers from squeaky toys my dogs had made holes in, wash them, and every so often put one in my mouth to breathe back and forth through to mimic the sound of a squeaky toy, driving dogs crazy as they tried to figure out what was going on.

Yesterday I looked out a library window and saw two mallard ducks walking around in the parking lot. A little later I walked over to Trader Joe's and saw a mallard duck walking in the parking lot there as well. ???

He wants to have a big party, & has family and friends coming from all over, including lots of musicians he's played and/or sung with at one time or another, so there will be lots of music in addition to everything else. He & his family have been such a big/important part of our lives for so long.😢

Many times I've walked downtown while it was still dark, to catch the early bus to the San Jose train station, occasionally breaking spiderwebs with my face where there were bushes/trees on both sides of the sidewalk.

As a kid I used to get it sometimes, because it was really cheap, had photos of pets & spaceships, & classified ads like "(huge number) Enquirer readers, each one send me $1, then I'll have $(huge number)", maybe offering a hamburger recipe in return, that made me think, "whoa, does that work?".

Wow, I think you are right - to me it looks like stainless steel, but when I just tried a magnet on it it didn't stick. It's something I got new as a gift during this century, so not particularly vintage. All it says on the back is "Simon Pearce", but I'm not seeing it on his site or used on eBay.
