There are no curse words harsh enough to express the rage I feel over the fact Disney continues to refuse to sell me a blu-ray of this movie.

I simply do not trust studios to leave these things on streaming. Hell, I didn't trust them before they started giving me reasons not to trust them.

It feels like at least once a year, a genre movie gets dropped on streaming despite deserving not only a full theatrical run but serious awards consideration.

This year, that movie is They Cloned Tyrone.

This movie RULES. It's on Netflix right now - go watch it.

I was concerned Spoutible's lack of an algorithm would make this place a bit dull. It's forcing me to dig a bit deeper into other's timelines and I'm finding awesome tidbits everywhere. When someone follows you, take the time to explore their posts, lots of great and interesting folks here!

It's a Christmas movie from 1929. Wyler's first "talkie." It's very good. An adaptation of Three Godfathers, if you're familiar with any later versions (Wyler's is my favorite so far, though Tokyo Godfather is pretty great, too).

I got interested in Wyler after watching Hell's Heroes last year and immediately being embarrassed I hadn't been familiar with him prior to looking him up after seeing it. I checked out a handful of his movies - Best Years was a long way from my favorite but was still pretty great.

There should be theories the movie was cover for Nigel gaining immortality, and that you can decode all the "green" references in the script to derive the formula for the philosopher's stone.

People waste their lives on flat earth bs when way better nonsense is just there for the taking. Sad.

Certainly feels like it! I've just been wrong about stuff like this enough times to remain cautious.

Oh, did you notice the actor playing The Green Knight was named Nigel Green and this was his final role? I feel like there should weird theories about that.

LOVE Bowie & Frank Oz's work in this, but those tights are always going to be a thing... no idea if Bowie was wearing a dance belt or not, but stirrup pants were not his friend.

Yeah, the look is extremely close to Holy Grail. I haven't seen enough 70's fantasy to know whether they were specifically parodying this, if this was just the look of the subgenre at the time, or if it might have been like source, and my attempts to find an answer online were fruitless.

I love Spoutible. I really do. I love the like-mindedness without the toxicity. I do feel, though, that when personal spouts are shared, they get bypassed because they're not edgy or political. Behind these accounts are people who want to interact. Make connections. Pay attention to the people.

Every time I see a movie that I remember being released referred to as a "classic," part of my soul dies, turns to dust, and is carried away by the wind.

Strong agree on the Disney+ show: I'd gladly trade any 3 non-Acolyte upcoming Star Wars shows for another season.

If you think Spoutible is a political echo chamber, have you considered that the tone here may actually be reflecting what real people think when social media isn't overrun by paid trolls, bots, and hatemongers?

I scream the benefits of my library card from the rooftops. I use it as a blockbuster for games before I buy. You can do genealogy, get audiobooks straight to your phone, music, dvds, BOOKS, tabletops games for the nerds out there. Apps- Libby and Hoopla USE. YOUR. LIBRARY!

Retired librarian here! If you’re frustrated by news source paywalls check your public library website to see if the library subscribes & offers it FREE to all registered borrowers. My public library subscribes to NYT & WSJ. Just one of the many perks of having a library card.

Dear chefs everywhere:

Please stop putting so much SALT in/on everything. It doesn’t make it taste better. It just makes it intolerably salty.

I’d really like to taste my food. I’d really like to experience another flavor besides SALT!!!
