Is it really people on the left or are we talking about liberals (neolibs). Because nothing about a neolib surprises me these days. They are the sane as neocons - They only pretend to care more about social justice- but in many cases it is just window dressing.

yes they people tend to rejoice in the pain of marginalized communities. Just reaffirming the power imbalance that exists. little empathy for LGBTQI + , POC’s, woman of color and then even further Palestinians, Muslims, immigrants. Hope we can attract these groups in future to Spoutible

Yes I think it could be because of my location. But there are breaches in Germany too- However with the GDPR act in Europe protecting personal info is very serious and maybe that is why less breaches. Not an expert in the field, just guessing 🤔

Yes true- I am not an American, so I am not really so overly focussed on the election. For me it is more about the principle and whoever is in charge should approach this with urgency and empathy. Of course Trump will be worse, but that does not mean Biden and other world leaders should not step up!

Young voters are stuck between voting for a neocon vs voting for a neoliberal. Of course young progressives will tilt to Neolib as there are no other option, so I also doubt the polls. But I think most really want Biden to find the political will to lead peace efforts.

Yes, I am certain young voters will vote for Biden or any democrat for that matter over Trump- we are not stupid. But to ignore our generations anger and frustration at Biden due to his stance on Palestine, should not be ignored. His current stance is not popular at all amongst young voters.

Young voters are not stupid. Of course they will vote for whatever Democrat stands against Trump next year. The issue is about what is happening NOW and Biden has a job to do. He needs to show political will to stand up for and lead peace efforts in Palestine. This is what young voters want.

It is not only different languages, but global perspectives. Yesterday I tried to talk about racial discrimination that people from ethnic Balkan communities experience and there was someone who took a very American approach against me. I really hope that spoutible become more international.
