I've seen the "doubtible" stuff for awhile on Twitter. And let me say, sometimes it starts out kinda convincing. Especially if you have zero @cbouzy background, and my background is extremely limited. I can't imagine how real it seems to someone with zero background knowledge.

It's been happening for months. Over the weekend, they saw thousands of teens talking about joining Spoutible on Twitter, so they started replying to the teens with false information about "data leaks." So naturally, that spooked the teens, and it spread like wildfire. It is coordinated.

Earlier today, someone random person falsely reported a data leak at Spoutible with a list of IP addresses to scare people into deleting their accounts. Those IP addresses are NOT from our database, and our systems haven't been breached. No user's data was accessed.

You guys Explore is back up but if you feel you might be harmed and triggered by hate speech, please avoid Explore for now. The trolls are still working hard at being trash-people over there. They're now being zapped by Spoutible within seconds but still.

Looks like they just took it back down again. Spoutible is currently under a troll attack, and the Explore feed is full of fake accounts posting slurs. We went through this twice before, in late Feb and again in early Apr. If it comes back up again and you see anything, please report.
