True story: Yesterday, I hired a Black female DevOps consultant to fix a rare bug with our database cluster and our unique setup. It took her only 30 minutes to identify the root cause of the bug. You can thank her for Spoutible not going down yesterday afternoon under heavy load.

I am trying to use Threads to promote Spoutible, and the app is so clunky. You can't even enlarge avatars to see who is interacting with you.

Bluesky has an Android and iOS app, 13+ million in investments, and Threads just ate their lunch. Spoutible having an iOS app isn't magically going to catapult us to the top. Everything that is happening would've happened with or without an iOS app.

Earlier today, someone random person falsely reported a data leak at Spoutible with a list of IP addresses to scare people into deleting their accounts. Those IP addresses are NOT from our database, and our systems haven't been breached. No user's data was accessed.

A lot of people have been complaining about Spoutible's speed. We were not expecting a 708.65% increase in traffic which is still increasing. This is a lot of new users in a short timeframe.
