Pretty sure it did and you think there is a huge difference between a 77 and an 80 year old or a 77 and a 85 year old?

Pretty sure that said 80-year old when I commented but I could be getting old 😉

Some people just leave right after work and go straight to their site. They don't mind setting up in the dark. I on the other hand would not enjoy that at all

What these things are will vary from person to person. For example if someone posts that runaway slaves invented hush puppies, do you want Spoutible to block that post as spreading misinformation?

Guess what I am saying is it a corporations responsibility or is it the individual people. The people I know personal spread conspiracy theories constantly to their family and friends. Are we suppose to say they are not allowed to do this?

In Meta's case is it really their job to filter news and information? Right now people are mad at them for basically doing that on Threads in the most extreme way by not allowing topics to be discussed and referring to gov't sites. Do we want corps as gatekeepers of information

Yep like when Cavs lost Kyrie and Love when playing the Warriors or the Warriors lost KD and Klay when playing Toronto. It's sad to me but most people never mention it and don't care

Feel you on that one too. Unfortunately most people seem to think anyone that thinks different than they do is a lost soul that needs to be educated

I feel you on that one. They have just be programmed to be that way so they are just repeating what they have been taught or believe they are supposed to say. I doubt most have a deep understanding of their beliefs or the religion they claim

It was the easiest way for them to meet the requirements of not spreading misinformation since they can not monitor it

I wrote about this earlier this year for our mag. The reality is that it is impossible to avoid the "evil corporations" of the world. You may think you are but you are not, trust me. If you want to live you have to pick your poison

I think some people just think they have to be rude and insulting and they never think they are being rude and insulting. If you have a different opinion then that is all that it takes.

They are not going to show up to vote for anyone because they don't care and if they ever vote for a bunch of racists and bigots they were never on our side so what they think or believe is meaningless to us

If they care at all they just protest and complain online about capitalism, climate change, both parties are the same, and old people need to get out of the way so real progressives can take over

If they don't vote it's meaningless. Right now it is old people who are voting and are the engines of change. This country was saved by a bunch of Dem leaders that are all over 70. I doubt the avg person under 30 cares about politics at all at least in my work.

The craziest part for me is how easily these mostly younger people think old people are useless and that young people don't have any health issues because they are young

The best way to put it is that if you fit into a certain demo then Spoutible is fine. If however you are closer to mainstream or the avg person then this might not be the place for you
