I cherry pick the ones I read. The rest build up until I can't bear it and then I have a purge. Cycle repeats about every two weeks.

Edited to add - my daughter had over 10,000 unread emails in her mailbox last time she showed me. I nearly spat out my tea.

Lol I was a victim of that thing where you add a website, backspace out the link and the site disappears when you hit "Spout".

Had to edit to paste the link back in after spouting.

It's weird how some websites don't preview in Spoutible. I wish this one did, as I think many more people would have felt inclined to read the article. It really is a gem.

I've fried the leaves with almonds as a great snack high in antioxidants and iron. Never tried making wine with the flowers!

The graph is total dollar amount since 1945, adjusted to a standard dollar value. The UK suffered huge damage in WW2 and the US loaned the UK $3.75bn to keep its economy afloat.

Note: this was a loan, not a gift. Every dollar and cent was repaid with interest, the debt cleared in 2006.

She was cautioned for not sticking to answering the questions asked. She was wandering into giving away explicit details about TFG that weren't pertinent to the question.

Love the bold print on the orange and white dress. More people should dress in bright colours IMHO. It brings cheer.

Undoing the damage caused by the Tories is a 20 year project. The longest labour has ever been in government is 13 years from 1997 to 2010. Taking a sharp left at the outset will just result in more reactionary voters come the next GE and any good work being undone by another term of Tory grift.

Gripiing about Starmer now is like griping about Biden. There's only one sane choice and that's to wipe conservatives out at the ballot box and start the long, arduous journey of undoing the damage caused by their grift. Once they are purged, then we can start to rebuild for the betterment of all.

My guess is he will call it for October, and the UK will have a Labour government before the US presidential election. Although, if he thinks his party's chances will improve in the meantime, he truly is without a clue.

It's very sad to see a loved one so hoodwinked. Perhaps she is beyond persuasion at the moment, but might return to normality once the cult of TFG crashes and burns. I hope so, for her sake and yours.
Maybe better to spend energy on getting young people in your sphere of influence fired up to vote?
