When something happens it's next to impossible to track down what people are talking about. If you weren't on at first spout, it's a lot of energy to figure it out. People ampliify by quote spouting but it makes it very confusing to follow. It's not a conversation to easily follow or join.

You know how you see a meme and laugh, but then you keep seeing it months later and you find it less amusing and wonder how it's still making its rounds? It's like that. That's the awareness I speak of. I'm not asking anyone to stop having fun. I'd just rather have new cleverness than more of same.

I see the echoes more than the original, so probably wouldn't help. As I said, I usually ignore. Responding to it now is unusual. But there is a general lack of awareness among the raisin crowd and sometimes it's helpful to see something from the outside. Idk. Probably wasn't worth saying anything.

I mean, tbh, it's a joke that's played out but the "in" crowd still thinks it's funny and doesn't get that's a bit tiring to see. However, that's not the fault of the platform. I typically scroll by without comment, but somedays I see a raisin spout and just nope my way out of Spoutible.

Pooh sticks is the best. I was with some people near a creek and I said I had the urge to play Pooh sticks, and they didn't know what I was talking about, and I was very sad for them.

I've successfully done it with a ruler marked in millimeters. Easier if you have someone help you so you look straight ahead. Also, the online companies have a little tool they will send you. I got it with my order so I use that now. I'm betting they would send one before you order if you asked.

In college, a friend and I decided to see if we could trick or treat for shots, and it worked. We were surprised and only knocked on a couple doors since we realized it was going to work a little too well. 😆

I fear that the next best thing isn't just finding a community of outrage, but a willingness to burn it all down.

We've already had to fight this battle last election. They put up a full slate. Thankfully we managed to fend them off in a very purple region so it wasn't a certainty. But ppl have to start now, get organized, raise money. The campaign already began.

Yes, absolutely. I would add: Be willing to say "I don't know" and "can you please help me?"

The lingo. It's just solidly whimsical without being too outlandish. It's intuitive. Spout. Spout Off. Echo. Make Waves. It's just makes me smile.
