Fellow Spoutans. I need some positive juju. My husband has had an eye issue for about a week. Today he went to the eye Dr. and was diagnosed with a detached retina. He has an appointment tomorrow at UW Madison and we’ll go from there. Although not life threatening, this could be life changing.

Last September, I hiked over a hill and saw this sow grizzly bear with two yearlings about 500 feet away. As she moved closer, I had no other place to go except to back away. She never charged but I had my bear mace ready and had to be #brave enough to use it. #dailypicturetheme
