I've been awoken by the most intense pain in my leg down around my calf. It's not tender, there's no bruising, and I can't put my weight on it.

What in the fuck is THIS about?!?!

Is it hot to the touch? Any redness? Swelling?

Sounds like cramp.
Water before sleeping may help.
Hope it feels better soon.

I hope it gets better. I think that 🍌 and water might help. If it's a leg cramp those hurt like hell, sore for hours to days.

I get those when I don’t drink enough water. I call them Charley horses, and I manage them by gently stretching out the cramp, and making sure I stay hydrated and increase my potassium and magnesium intake.

I get muscle spasms every once in a while, increased in my 40s which is awesome. Intense pain in my calf muscle that wakes me up, takes a day or so to be able to put weight on that leg fully again. Deficit of magnesium, calcium and potassium. They don't seem to happen if I take my multivitamins.

My husband gets that once in a while. He wakes up almost screaming and tries to get up to stretch out his leg. Scared the shit out of me the first few times it happened.😳

Sounds like a fun start to the day. Not.

Hope it's a weird temporary thing and your day gets better!
