Absolutely! Her childhood was really effed up. I'm sure she could have used an adult to depend on. I always want to mother her- as a child she so closely resembled my own daughter, how could I not?

Love that shirt. We do all have little idiosyncrasies, I have many. I can look past his obsession with being a cosplay cowboy, the abusive white male racist and narcissist trunt supporter, I cannot.

Cringe. Yeah, Drew is sweet, but not necessarily very bright. Would some of us like to have a sweet mother figure we could lean on? Yes. It is not the Vice President of these United States job to provide that.

Nope. I think he may have tried a few on an adjacent property he bought early on, but not since. He does have some horses that he plays cowboy on. He's a weird dude, obsessed with cowboys since he was a kid. Wore this western gear in HS, in the 60's! We've lived in MI all our lives.

Sounds like my narcissistic brother. Calls his place a 'ranch', wears mostly western style clothing, boots and hats like he's starring in his own movie, has a brand, uses it to put his initials on steaks.

Our Robin is up high too. Other nests have been low enough to photograph the babies. It's only a couple of weeks or so before they fledge.

It is fun to watch the babies grow! We have a nest near our porch on a wreath right now. A very calm mom, she stays put when I have to work near her.

Thanks- that was before the new boards. The chairs were new then- 2017, before remodeling the deck and staining it all a nice weathered warm gray like the table.

Yeah, I was impressed. Just a couple of the boards had some dry rot. Probably could have eked out another year or two, but we needed a summer project. Just a small chairside table, Adirondack style.

Got it. Love that about cedar. I have a table on the deck I built out of cedar about 25 years ago. A couple of years ago I had to replace the boards on top, but the base is still great.

Lordy. Is he at least close by? I keep a key hidden outside, always have, but that doesn't always work in an apartment, nor is it always safe.

It does not take much. On the other hand, as much as it hurts, you know that real harm is not being done, you can wait it out. Made the mistake of cutting hot peppers and then not making sure I washed my hands enough (young and stoopid then). I wear contacts. FAFO when I took them out that night.

I feel your pain. This kind of attitude was why my motto was always: "A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Yes, it's easy to misjudge. I don't follow him and don't know him at all- so after a day of seeing ugly words about the topic aimed at women, his seemed like just more of the same.
