I don't eat pb and j. But whe I make hot chocolate, which I just did, I proceed: milk powder, then sugar, then cocoa. Light ingreds first, then cocoa. Spoon now mixes in the water, then is rinsed while the chocolate heats, then final stir. One spoon, no mixing of ingredients in containers. DOH ready

I never met small children like my nephew's two little ones, the antithesis of picky eaters. You know there is a farm family at your dinner table when you can serve the 1 year old & 4 year old anything, from roasted vegetables to Cajun gumbo, and they will tuck right into it.

I brought home a toy stuffed lion my brother found in the basement closet & just looked inside the "Especially for You" tag on its ear. In my Dad's handwriting, it says "Remember who you are!", a Sufi saying, and now it is staying here forever until someone has to go through MY things.
