I think the only real hope would be to say it's official doctrine and if your church/school/whatever won't embrace it, you won't have church endorsement as Catholic anymore. Won't reach everyone but may mean their youth at least get that message of love.

Patterns still come in the original version of sizes, which seem to typically be a few sizes larger. A 16 is maybe more like today’s 10, roughly,though so much now depends on the brand and whothey think their market is,also why those catering to young people size smaller for S/M/L.

I think that goes both ways, where politicians get intense pressure from conservative churches, too, but in some areas (and I mean geographically, but also areas of policy and of the political spectrum), it's very hard to untangle the two!
