Tempura can be tricky. The best trick I can say is to make sure you use ice water, it has to be around 40 degrees. I’ve also used chilled carbonated water too.

I learned how to make this when I was at school over in Japan. It’s so easy and cheap to make, there’s just a couple of tricks to get the egg to set just right.

My paps did the whole one earring thing in the late 70s, and then to two by the late 80s. Mix of diamond studs and gold sleepers. He did not GAF, and encouraged us to do the same. I still wear earrings on one side too 😁.

Thank you. I live over an hour away from the hospital she’s at, but am visiting as often as I can. Thankfully a dear friend lives close by and is there with her every day. They are keeping us updated throughout the day. It’s not my first rodeo with the big C, but it never gets easier with loved ones

I’m a glutton for punishment lol. I still have some acquaintances on there I check in on and speak to sometimes, but it has gotten so much worse recently. I’ve come to appreciate how much calmer things are here on 🐳. It’s so nice not to feel anxious on a social media site.

Flavored yoghurt was okay, and so was the apple juice. I had a cold pressed apple juice a while back but can’t seem to find it recently. It was so refreshing, especially with crushed ice and a splash of vodka.

What makes the cravings worse is that our local Korean joint is literally a five minute leisurely stroll away. We’re on a first name basis and they always generously add in Korean pop and snacks for hubs and I.

I love them! They are an excellent specimen tree. I have a couple growing that are about 5ft tall. They are super spiky to the touch, but they look fantastic nonetheless 😍

I believe BC has a similar climate (Cfb) that they are found in and should totally grow well there! My trips to AU/NZ were magical; their forests are truly mind-bending, beautiful and ancient. I would love to visit Southern Chile and Argentina to check out their southern Valdivian forests too.
